Kapan itu nonton Discovery dibahas soal bangunan yg dirancang very edgy, push to the limit yang menurut mereka justru dipertanyakan keamanannya, soalnya bangunan2 tersebut belum pernah dibikin dan perhitungan fisikanya masih diragukan trus dikasi contoh airport di Prancis yg roboh padahal baru dipakai beberapa bulan...
Serem juga ya bikin2 yg baru kalo kita gak tahu keamanannya, kalo rumah pribadi sih gak apa2 tapi kalo fasilitas umum kan serem juga....
Kalo ada apa2 kan yg disalahin kontraktor & arsitek, desainer gitu..... |
| Heheheh... kebetulan salah satu anggota tim project ini adalah kenalan gw. Dari cerita dia siy, ktnya project ini melibatkan byk bgt ahli dr berbagai disiplin ilmu. Masih dr cerita dia jg, 2 hal yg di push bgt buat jd konsep utama yg bikin bangunan ini menarik adalah :
1. Changing view yg disebabkan oleh lantai yg berotasi, jdnya bisa liat view sekeliling bangunan tanpa hrs pindah tempat.
2. Sistem Bangunan Pintar Tingkat Tinggi yang sangat memanfaatkan kondisi alam (angin, matahari, laut) untuk memenuhi kebutuhan si kinetik rotasi si bangunan.

Once I saw a program in Discovery. The program told about the edgy architecture, the ones that pushed the creative ideas to the limit. The problem is those buildings were never built before. There are doubts about the science calculations in those buildings. And then they gave example the new airport in France which had fallen down after couples months opened to public.
I think it's so scary consider that those buildings are public facilities. And if something happens, the ones will be blamed are contract, architect or designer.
Sophia said that one of the project team is her friend. The friend tells that this project is involving lots of experts from various aspect. Two things that the team really consider are:
1.changing view that is caused by the rotating floor, so you can see the view around without walking to different room
2. the breaktrough building system is designed to using the weather condition (wind,sun,sea) to fulfill the need of kinetic rotation for the building
Sophia told that this idea had crossed her mind since a few years ago to be built in the future. It's just hte matter of time. She is really sure this kind of architecture really can be built.
I agree with her because of the progress of tchnology and science. I tell her when I was a kid I read about the turning restaurant on the roof of Savoy Hoffman in Bandung, Indonesia, in the late 80s. I don't know if the restaurant still exist now. |
